Redwall Sanctuary and Charity
Location: The Redwall Sanctuary and Charity is located in a quiet, largely empty corner of the Residential District of Union. The building sits on roughly two and a half acres of land. The main building, outbuildings, and the fences around the gardens are all made of a reddish stone, hence the name.
Purpose: To help newcomers to Union while also meeting the needs of the city's poorer residents.
Description, Physical: The main building is roughly two stories with a basement/cellar for inclement weather, food and assorted other storage, and Pokémon and people who like being underground. The first floor has the kitchen, the dining area, the resident's office (where people go to get a room or other aide) half of the dormitories, and the infirmary. The second floor as the rest of the dorms and the large "den" area with a radio, books, tables for cards or board games, and space for younger people and Pokémon to play. The dormitories vary in size, with three distinct categories:
Singles are for one or two people who share a room. There is either a bunk bed or a double bed (a larger bed can be brought in), a trunk, a wardrobe, and a small washroom with a shower, toilet, and sink. They are found on the first and second floors.
Doubles are two singles that share a washroom. They are also slightly larger and are found on the first and second floors.
Family dorms are more like small apartments and only located on the first floor. These rooms are meant to house family groups, or groups of people who don't mind living as a family. The family dorm has three rooms, two trunks, a wardrobe, and a washroom. These three rooms can be used in any way, though come standard with a double bed and a bunk bed. The washroom is slightly larger.
Outside there is the community garden, home to many vegetables and berry bushes, the flower garden (home to Noonvale's Perfumery, find your personalized scent for only $9.99!), what Martin hopes will one day be an orchard, and the practice rings. There are two: one for armed combat, and one for unarmed combat. There's a small space in between the two for the people who want to practice armed-against-unarmed. The rest of the two acres is largely empty, though there is a lake for the Water-types, a low shed for storage, and an open shelter of sorts for larger Pokémon who won't be sent to the Habitat. There is also a small, quiet area simply labeled "For Memory"; this area has benches, prayers for the dead and lost, and a monument in the center for those who have passed on.
Martin's Quarters: Just off the resident's office is Martin's personal living space. It spans both floors, three bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms, and has a private kitchen. The space is mostly vertical, but he needed more room than his old apartment as well as closer to Redwall. Should anyone need him, the office door has a bell that rings in his rooms.
If you'd like your character to stay here, please just let me know! I'm not keeping tabs on if there's enough room, but I'd like to know who's living here ICly
